EMMA YONTZ

   Mrs. Emma L. Yontz, 63, of 739 Highwood Rd., Beaverton, died Friday, Sept. 
24, in the Midland Hospital following an illness of six months. Born in 
Detroit on August 9, 1913, she came to Gladwin County five years ago from 
Berkley. The former Emma Switzer, she was married to Harry Yontz on August 10, 
1934, in Berkley.
   Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Gerald of Beaverton and Harry 
J. of Royal Oak; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Parish of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. 
Clementine Lockwood of St. Louis, Mo. and Mrs. Margaret Barrett of Troy; and 
six grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral 
Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Leon Bovee officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery.
