YORK

   Zebediah York, one of the first residents of Beaverton, died Sunday night, 
after a long illness, with heart complications. He leaves his wife, two sons 
and three daughters, Mrs. Charles C. Kinney being one of the daughters. He was 
a member of the F. & A.M., under whose auspices funeral services were held 
Wednesday at the M. E. church Beaverton. Rev. Harwood the pastor delivering 
the discourse. Interment took place at Beaverton. Mr. York was widely known 
and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends.
