Gladwin County Record dated 10-30/1968 Column - 4 Page - 1 
Services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. for Clyde R. Yost, 80, who died at 
his Beaverton home Tuesday, Oct. 29, after a brief illness. Born in Henry 
County, Ohio, December 6, 1887, he was an engineer and crane operator in 
construction work before his retirement. Coming to Gladwin County in 1917, Mr. 
Yost was married to the former Leona Grant in Saline August 8, 1925. He was a 
member of the Gladwin County Farm Bureau.
   Surviving him are his wife, Leona; a son, D. J. Yost of Beaverton; a 
daughter, Mrs. Fay Ann Bay of Clare; two step-sons, Clyde Grant and Claude 
Grant, of Beaverton, a brother, Floyd of Dorintost, Canada; three sisters, 
Mrs. Eva Williams of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ann McClure of Tecumseh, and Mrs. 
Belva Cornell of Apache Junction, Ariz.
   The services will be at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles E. 
Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Cemetery.
