Gladwin County Record dated 02-25/1976 Column - 5 Page - 2
Edward R. Young, 61, of 3315 Wieman Rd., Beaverton, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 
at the Clare Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Highwood on July 12, 
1914, he moved back to Gladwin County in 1962. Mr. Young retired from Buick 
Motors in Flint in 1962, after working there 17 years.
   Surviving are one son, Frederick of Flint, and two brothers, Fred and 
William both of Beaverton. Rites were held Saturday at 2 p.m from the Hall 
Funeral Home in Beaverton. Daniel Weir officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery.
