Juanita Young, 69, of 1119 Riverside Dr., Beaverton, died Friday, July 29, in 
the Midland Hospital after a long illness. Born in Glendale, Ky., on August 
29, 1907, she moved to Gladwin County in May 1966 from Detroit. The former 
Juanita Richards, she was married to Hubert Young on Septmeber 22, 1940, in 
Iowa. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Oleta Richards 
of Gladwin; one son, Bruce Smith of Denver, Colo; one daughter Mrs. Donald 
(Made MacIntyre of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Madge Huston of Eltoro, Calif.; 
one brother, John of Lansing; and 5 grandchildren. Services were held Saturday 
at 4 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Carter Miller officiated and 
burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
