Helen Fiedler

   Helen B. Fiedler, 92, of Midland passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at
Brittney Manor Nursing Home. Helen was born June 20, 1912 in Flynn, Michigan to
John and Selinda Herber Lucas. She married Leonard Fiedler in 1956 in Detroit;
he passed away in 1975. Helen was a member of the Community Church of the
Nazarene in Midland.

   Surviving are nieces and nephews, Linda and Roy Staley, Wayne and LaNeel
Vannest, Byron and Janet Vannest, Harold and Karen Vannest, Dennis and Susan
Vannest, Mark Vannest and Ilene Jones and several more nieces and nephews; one
sister, Ferne Eller of Arizona; and on sister-in-law, Eunice Lucas of Howell.
One brother, Lawrence Lucas, and five sisters, Olive Vannest, Mary Parks Robins,
Lucy Walker, Merle Parsons and Gladys Banks predecease her.

   Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at the Sisson Funeral
Home in Gladwin. Pastor Terry Turner will officiate, and burial will be in Ridge
Cemetery, Gladwin. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of the service
on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Community Church of the Nazarene in
Midland.
