Gladwin County Obituary:
Mary Peters


   On the morning of May 11 Mrs. Mary Peters after a lingering illness passed
away. She was born in Canada in 1839, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Reynolds. At the age of 16 she was marred to Valentine Peters. After marriage
they lived in Canada 22 years, then moved to Michigan in 1887. Her husband
preceded her to the other shore three years ago last November. She left to mourn
her loss seven sons and eight daughters, one son and daughter having passed away
a few years ago. Her aged mother and one sister are also living. The funeral
services were held in the McClure church May 13, conducted by Rev. A. C, Peters.
Interment took place at the Gladwin cemetery
