Mabel Shell

   Mabel E. Shell, 92, passed away March 4, 2007 at Bortz Health Care of West
Branch She was born in Ogemaw County April 25, 1914 to Adelbert and Lillie
(Towner) Hamilton.

   Mabel married Grant A Shell, who preceded her in death in 1969.

   Mabel is survived by her children, Margie Ballard and Bruce of Gladwin, Mary
Jo Harder of Mt. Morris, Jackie (George) Gaulin of Hale, Jim (Polly) Ryan of
Birch Run, Sally Bateman and John Emeke of Freeland; one step daughter, Louise
Shell of Walled Lake; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 14
great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel (Bud) Daniels of Zephyrills,
Florida, and Ruby Hertzberg of Flint. Mabel was preceded in death by her
husband, Grant Shell; step children, Dale Shell and Virginia Ludwing;
son-in-law, Gene Harder; four sisters; and four brothers.

   Cremation has taken place A memorial dinner will be held Saturday, March 17,
2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the VFW Hall in Gladwin.

   Sisson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
