NEST R. (WALTENBURG) SOLDAN

Nest R. Soldan, 65, of 1431 N. Sprin St., Gladwin, died Tuesday, June 13, 1989,
at her home after a long illness. Born in Onaway, July 1, 1923, she moved to
Gladwin County 2 years ago from Hemlock. Mrs. Soldan was a registered nurse. The
former Nest Waltenburg, she was married to Robert Soldan, Dec. 1, 1962, in
Onaway. Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 sons, Dan of Houghton Lake,
Dave of Freeland and Doug of Hemlock; her mother, Olean Waltenburg of Gladwin; 2
brothers, Glen Waltenburg of Hemlock and Bill Waltenburg of Gladwin; and 3
grandchildren.
Services were held Thursdy at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The
Rev. Burton Kincaid officiated and burial was in Ridge Cemetery.
