Former Resident Dies in Pt. Huron

Mrs. Blanche Stalker, 80, of 908 Pine Street, Port Huron, died Tuesday,
following a brief illness. Mrs. Stalker formerly lived in Gladwin County and is
the sister of Mrs. Eva Molesworth. Born on May 26, 1880, she had lived in Port
Huron five years. Her husband, Nelson, preceded her in death in January, 1913.

Survivors include three sons, Guy Stacker of Croswell, Eldo Squires of Port
Huron and William Stacker of Traverse City; one daughter, Mrs. Florence Payne,
of Ludington; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Molesworth of Gladwin, Mrs. Iva Baugh and
Miss Cassie Card, of Flint; 25 granchildren and many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Pollack-Jollet Funeral
Home in Port Huron, the Rev. Elmer Freer, of Troy, officiating. Burial services
will be held in Ridge cemetery, Gladwin County, at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
