Thomson - Mother" Additional Comments: Gladwin County Obituary: MRS. GEORGE THOMPSON Mary Jane Thompson died at her home at 812 Carlisle street, in Saginaw, Saturday night, July 10, at 11:30, of a complication of diseases, after an illness of several weeks. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, July 28, 1847, and had been a resident of Saginaw 12 years, having moved there from Gladwin county. She is survived by her husband, George Thompson, two daughters, Mrs. A. E. Buchanan, and Miss Lucile Thompson, both of Saginaw, one brother, John Weir of Gladwin, and a sister, Mrs. William Harty of Allegan. Services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock and the body was brought to Gladwin Tuesday and taken to the home of her brother, John Weir. Services were held at the Wagarville church Wednesday morning, at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. J. Headley with burial in Ridge cemetery.
