JULY 7, 1917
Mike Brein, alias Chas. Anderson, was arrested last Friday by Officer M.J. 
McGinty, suspected as an accomplice to a murder on the Vermillion range.  
Sheriff Chas. Cunderson of Itasca and Attorney R.A. Stone arrived here 
Thursday and after an examination held at Bessemer, although the prisoner 
pleaded presence at the time of the murder, he was released.
