JULY 7, 1917
Little Joe Hrbacek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hrbacek, aged 7 years, found a 
dynamite cap Friday afternoon and not knowing what it was ignited it with a 
match.  The result was that three fingers were torn off from his left hand, 
his chest, left eye and face were quite badly injured.
