Miss Castelletto, together with a number of friends, had gone to the falls for a picnic party. Below the falls is a large log which is used as a crossing place and attempting to cross the river she lost her balance and fell into the water. The river at this point is very swift and before aid could be given her she had been carried away by the current. Searching parties from Wakefield, Ramsay and Bessemer were patrolling the rive as far north as the mouth but to no avail until Thursday morning when Joe Maccani and party from Bessemer located her body in the large hole east of Abitosse, being held by a log in about 15 feet of water. The remains were recovered and taken to the home of her parents. Miss Castelletto was born in Bessemer township Nov. 19, 1900, living in that community all her life. She was well known through the Gogebic range district and was a favorite with all who knew her. The funeral services will be held at the Catholic church in Bessemer this morning.
