MRS. JOHN MAZUREK
Mrs. John Mazurek died at her home in Wakefield Monday afternoon at 4:20 after 
a several months illness from tuberculosis.  She was a patient sufferer and 
did not give up hope of relief until five days before her death.

Maggie Jatczak was born in Poland 25 years ago.  At the age of 17 she 
emigrated to America and took up her residence here.  In January, 1911, she 
was united in marriage to John Mazurek.  To them were born two children, both 
of which died in infancy.

The funeral was held Wednesday, services being conducted at the Catholic 
church of which institution she was a devoted member.  Rev. Fr. C.J. Swoboda, 
of Bessemer, officiating.

Besides a large circle of friends she leaves to mourn her death, her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Jatczak in Poland, five brothers, Joseph, John, Anton, 
Andrew and Samuel, of Wakefield, and a sister, Mrs. John Gorski, of Wakefield.

The remains were escorted to the final resting place in the Catholic side of 
Lakeview cemetery by a large concourse of sorrowing friends.

Mr. Mazurek, the husband, has the sympathy of the entire community in his sad 
loss.

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all our kind friends and neighbors 
who so kindly aided us during the sickness and at the time of death of our 
beloved wife and sister.  We wish to thank all those who contributed flowers, 
or who in any way helped to alleviate our sorrow.  All these acts of kindness 
will ever be remembered.
