Ruth M. Earl, 74, of Traverse City, a former Charlotte resident, died Dec.
4, 1988, in Inverness, Fla.

Mrs. Earl was born in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Earl K. and Lillian
J. (Wagner) Mann. She was manager of Gittlemen's in Charlotte and was employed
at Richey's before her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; one daughter, Carolyn Piersma of
Rockville, Md.; one son, Frederick Earl of Charlotte; one brother, Murie
Mann of Arizona; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five half-brothers,
Neal, Warren, Ward, Richard and John Priesman, all of Charlotte; and two
half-sisters, Betty Smith of Harrison and Pat Spagnuolo of Charlotte.

Services were Dec. 8 at the Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte. Interment in
Maple Hill Cemetery.
