Traverse City Record Eagle – July 22, 1951
 Moses Linley Hudson, 66, died at Mercy hospital in Cadillac Saturday evening, 
following a prolonged illness.

  Mr. Hudson was born in Van Buren county, the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Hudson, 
on April 10, 1885, and was married to Maggie Adams March 14, 1915 in this city.
 
 He spent his early life in Wexford county and in 1908 he moved to Grand 
Traverse county where he was employed by the Brodhagen Livery Co. for 9 years, 
Later he was associated with the Oval Wood Dish Co. The last few years, he 
lived on a Bellaire township farm and in Wexford county.

 He leaves to mourn their loss, 2 foster grandchildren; 4 brothers; 4 step-
sons; 1 step daughter; several grandchildren. 
 His wife, 5 brothers, and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held from the Leonard Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon 
at 2 pm with the    Dr. Howard Towne officiating. Burial will be in the family 
lot at Monroe Center.
