      ALLEN JOHN WENTZELL, 45, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, 
at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 
p.m. Friday at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. Funeral 
services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A full obituary 
will be in Thursday's Record-Eagle.

      Allen John Wentzell
      Died March 21, 2000
      TRAVERSE CITY - Allen John Wentzell, 45, of Traverse City, died Tuesday 
at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
      Born April 3, 1954, in Kalamazoo, he was the son of John and Linnea 
(Kasen) Wentzell. On Feb. 29, 1997, in South Haven, he married the former 
Joanne Treadwell.
      Allen loved the outdoors, including fishing and hunting.
      He is survived by his wife, Joanne, of Traverse City; daughter, Jessica 
Marie Treadwell of Traverse City; sons, Michael Allen Treadwell of Traverse 
City and Timothy Michael Treadwell of Kalamazoo; brothers, Tom (Linda), Dick 
(Mary) and Jim (Suzanne); sisters, Sue (Tom) Redmond and Jane Bach; and many 
special nieces, nephews and close personal friends.
      He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jay.
      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. 
Friday at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. Funeral services 
will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Pletcher 
officiating. 
      Memorial contributions may be directed to the Department of Natural 
Resources.
