BEULAH - David C. Strehlke, 49, of Beulah, passed away on Monday, April 8, 
2002, at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort.
      David was born April 16, 1952, in Detroit, the son of Donald Louis and 
Frances Ruth (Ruttledge) Strehlke. On Oct. 28, 1982, David married Angela M. 
Mayo.
      David was a carpenter by trade, and enjoyed woodworking, snowmobiling, 
hockey and riding his motorcycle. He belonged to the Christian Motorcycle 
Association of North Carolina, (C.M.A.).
      David is survived by his wife, Angela; daughters, Dawn Marie (Curtis) 
Haigler of North Carolina and Shenna Marie Strehlke of Beulah; four 
grandchildren; his mother, Frances Ruth Strehlke; sister, Susan (Steven) Dristy 
of Alaska, and brothers, Frederick Strehlke of Detroit, Donald A. Strehlke of 
Traverse City and Kevin A. (Kathy Jo) Strehlke of Interlochen. He is also 
survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
      David was preceded in death by his father, Donald in 1986.
      Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 12, at the Bennett-Barz 
Funeral Home in Beulah.
      Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 13, at the 
funeral home with the Rev. Rennie Crawford Sr. officiating.
      Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, 
Beulah.
