Brimmer 1918 - 1943 (also has American Legion metal marker and U.S. flag) Additional Comments: Carl Wesley Brimmer, son of Grant and Mabel Brimmer, born Aug 31, 1918, in MI, and was killed in action April 30, 1943 in North Africa during World War II. Tombstone is across the drive from parents' tombstone in Ogdensburg Cemetery. I am not sure if his body is actually here or not. The National Archives and Records Administration lists his burial place as "North Africa American Cemetery, Carthage, Tunisia." I am not sure if his body is actually there either or not as the American Battle Monuments Commission lists after his death date "Missing in Action or Buried at Sea; Tablets of the Missing at North Africa American Cemetery."
