DEATHS
Mrs. Lillian Adelle Kernen, 77, of 426 North Maple street, Ithaca, died at the 
Carney-Wilcox-Miller hospital at Alma, Thursday evening.  She was born March 
24, 1871, at Battle Creek, and was a former resident of Holt and Lansing.  For 
the past three years she had lived in Ithaca.  She was the widow of Edward 
Samuel Kernen.  She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Kernen of Holly, Mich., 
and Harold Kernen of West Palm Beach, Fla., 10 grandchildren and 8 great-
grandchildren, and two brothers, Elmer Crossett and Ed Crossett, both of 
Portland, Ore.  Funeral services will be held from the Gorsline-Runciman 
funeral home at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon.  Rev. J. Clyde Lawder of the 
Church of Christ will officiate.  Interment will be in Deepdale cemetery.  
Pallbearers will be William Carlson, Charles Morris, Robert Kenney, Charles 
Davis, Lester Walker, and Harry Johnson.
