Carrie L. Tucker, age 34 of Alma, Michigan, formerly of Clare, passed away Friday, June ll, 1999 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Carrie was born the daughter of Albert Sam Carlo and Vivian (Meyer) Stinso on June 13, 1964 in Detroit. Carrie struggled her whole life to be well. She fought a 26 year battle with Diabetes and all its complications. Her will to live gave every life she touched the strength to endure all. She was an angel on this earth, but God wanted her; now He set her free. Surviving Carrie is her father Albert Stinso; her mother Vivian and step father Philip Good, 3 brothers Paul R. Stinso of Mt. Pleasant, Bryan G. (Emily) Blackburn of Farwell, James R. Blackburn of Howell; 2 sisters Kathleen J. (James) Haupt of Mt. Pleasant and Kristen A. Blackburn of Altamonte Springs, Fl; 5 step brothers and l step sister, 3 nephews Alexander J. and Benjamin S. Haupt and Tanner J. Stinso. Visiting and a Service were held on Saturday and Sunday at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare. Visiation will also be held on Monday at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington, Mich; where the funeral will be held on Tuesday at Noon. Burial will be in the Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan. Memorials may be made to a Diabetes foundation or association.
