Note:  Frances E. (Sanford) Burns married John Burns October 26, 1887

John Burns was the son of Hugh and Betsey Burns.  He was born in Pickering, 
Ontario, Canada

Robert S. Burns was the son of John and Frances E. (Sanford) Burns.

Hugh Burns was husband of Elizabeth "Betsey" (McCormick) Burns and father of 
John Burns.

Death certificate shows he was the son of Thomas Burns and McMira? both of 
Ireland, male, white, widower, parent of 6 children 3 living, sailor, born 
July 1824 Canada and passed away on November 11, 1907 St. Louis, Gratiot Co., 
MI at the age of 84 years, cause of death vascular heart disease.  Informant 
was John Burns of St. Louis.  Burial date was November 13, 1907 in St. Louis, 
MI.
