Headstone located on Hofstetter Hill

1861 - 1919

Note:  Hannah Lucretia (McCoy) Canfield death certificate shows she was the 
daughter of Wilbur McCoy (Ohio) no mother's name, female, white married, 
husband name John, born January 16, 1861 St. Johns, MI and died on November 
25, 1919 in Detroit, Wayne Co., MI at the age of 58 years 10 months and 9 
days, cause of death contributory cause, broncho pneumonia leading to other 
ailment. Informant Alice Canfield. Burial was on November 28, 1919 St. Louis, 
MI.

Family tree sources show Hannah Lucretia McCoy Canfield was the daughter of 
Gilbert Emerson and Hannah L. (Russell) McCoy. She married Edwin Jerome 
Canfield and they were the parents of the following children:

Arthur Horace Canfield 1885 – 1963 
Bessie Canfield 1887 – 1900 
Davillo Canfield 1890 – 1895 
Eva Nell Canfield 1893 – 
Ruth Rebecca Canfield 1898 – 1946 
Alice Leona Canfield 1900 – 1988 

Edwin Jerome Canfield was the son of Increase Baker Canfield born September 
1859 and died on March 9, 1934 (Death date from Cemetery records).  There is 
no headstone next to his wife's headstone.
