Note:  Grant Walter Hess date of death September 19, 1968

Vesta (Harris) Hess was the daughter of Jay N. and Emma (Johnson) Harris. She 
was born April 26, 1908 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI  and died on May 29, 
2008 at Masonic Pathways in Alma, Gratiot Co., MI at the age of 100 years. 
She graduated in 1926 from St. Louis High School and married Grant Walter Hess 
on September 16, 1927 in St. Louis, Gratiot Co., MI. They were the parents of 
two children.
