Note: Death certificate shows he was the son of Stephen Shippey NY and Harriet 
Peck, England, male, white, married, farmer, born April 3, 1840 Michigan and 
passed away April 14, 1912 Pine River Twp., Gratiot Co., MI at the age of 72 
years 1 month and 11 days, cause of death ? carcinoma.  Informant Mrs. Frances 
Shippey, St. Louis, Mich.  Burial was on April 17, 1912 Oak Grove, St. Louis, 
Mich.

Cemetery records show Frances E. Shippey date of death February 23, 1929.
