Note:  Benjamin E. Tanner death certificate shows he was the son of Ira Tanner 
and Phoebe Jones (both of NY), male, white, married, farmer, retired, born 
June 11, 1836 NY and passed away October 21, 1918 St. Louis, Gratiot Co., MI 
at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 10 days, cause of death apoplexy 
cerebral.  Informant Mrs. Elnora Tanner.  Burial was on October 23, 1918 Oak 
Grove, St. Louis, Mich.

Elnora E. Tanner was born June 1849 and died January 12, 1930 (cemetery 
records)
