Note: Henry Otis Totten was the son of Leverett J. and Charity Ann (Bartlett) 
Totten born January 8, 1845 in Orangeville, Orange Co., Indiana.  He married 
Anna M. E. Bedell on September 20, 1864 in Saginaw, Saginaw Co., MI.  They 
were the parents of Charles Edward, Del Otis Adelbert, Edith M., Arthur L. J. 
and Bessie Totten. 

His second spouse was Abbie Allen.

Birth Date: abt 1844

Death certificate shows he was the son of L. J. Totten and first name unknown 
Bartlett, male, white, married,retired veteran, born January 8, 1845 Indiana 
and died on October 23, 1919 St. Louis, Gratiot Co., MI at the age of 74 years 
9 months and 15 days, cause of death myocarditis, died suddenly.  Informant 
Mrs. Totten of St. Louis.  Burial was on October 26, 1919.

Note:  Cemetery records give birth date as January 8, 1845 and family tree 
sources show August 1, 1845, January 8, 1844
