December 12, 1840 in Ohio and died on August 12, 1912 St. Louis, Gratiot Co., 
Michigan at the age of 71 years 8 months and 7 days

Occupation: War Vet, Real Estate & Banking

Civil War: Lemuel Saviers 1861-1864. Enlisted in company C First U.S. 
Sharpshooters as First Sergeant Aug. 21 1861 at Detroit for 3 years age 21 ... 
Discharged for disability on account of wounds received in action at 
Spottsylvania Va. May 12 1864. For further description see (Descriptive Roll 
Twenty-sixth Michigan Volunteers)

Death certificate shows Caroline M. Saviers was the daughter of Perley Bill 
(VT) and Caroline Brown (Mass), female, white, widowed, born September 8, 1845 
Michigan and died on May 3, 1916 St. Louis, Gratiot Co., Michigan at the age 
of 70 years 7 months and 25 days, cause of death cerebral Hemorrhage. 
Informant W. G. West of St. Louis, Mich. Burial was on May 5, 1916 Oak Grove, 
St. Louis, Michigan. 

Death certificate Alice S. (Saviers) West she was the daughter of Lemuel 
Saviers (MI) and ? M. Bills (MI), white, female, married, husband Willis G. 
West, housewife, born August 28, 1870 MI and passed away July 29, 1920 St. 
Louis, Gratiot Co., MI at the age of 49 years 11 months and 1 day, cause of 
death chronic endocarditis. Informant W. G. West of St. Louis, MI. Burial was 
on July 31, 1920 St. Louis, MI. 

William G. "Will" West was the husband of Alice S. (Saviers) West born 
December 26, 1856 and died on March 11, 1941 (cemetery records - No Headstone)

Death certificate shows Effie May West was the daughter of Orange C. West and 
Harriet Stehrow? both of New York), white, female, single, seamstress, born 
July 26, 1868 Whitmore Lake, MI and died on April 22, 1909 St. Louis, Gratiot 
Co., MI at the age of 40 years 8 months and 26 days cause of death fatty 
cardio-neuratis ?. Informant Willis West St. Louis, MI. Burial was on April 
24, 1909 St. Louis, MI.
