Richard Armstrong
PITTSFORD - Richard Dale Armstrong, 54, of Gilbert Road, Pittsford, died 
Saturday (May 16, 1992) in the Hillsdale Community Health Center.

Born May 12, 1938, in Hillsdale, he was the son of Dale and Bernice Thompson 
Armstrong.  His stepfather, Michael Razzoog, survives in Grand Rapids.  His 
stepmother, Gladys Armstrong, survives in Pittsford.

Mr. Armstrong retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of  service; and has 
been employed at Hillsdale College for the past seven years.

He was a member of Hillsdale American Legion.

June 9, 1962, he married the former Rose Mary Graham, in Medina.  She survives 
as does one brother, Robert of Pittsford; three stepsisters, Mae O'Dell, 
Jackson, Grace Wisner, Detroit, and Shirley Pointer, Bear Lake; and one 
stepbrother, Marion Stockford, Osseo.

Preceding him in death were two stepbrothers.

The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Thuesday at the Eagle Funeral Home, Hudson, 
with the Rev. Gaylon Majors officiating.   Burial will be in Leonardson 
Cemetery, Pittsford.  Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsdale VFW.  
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral 
home.
