Obituary: Hillsdale Daily News, Tuesday, Sept 30, 1980
Roy G. Bellamy, 79 of 222 Oakwood Drive, Hillsdale, a resident of the county 
all his life, died Monday evening at Hillsdale Community Health Center.
He had been an engineer for the New York Central Railroad, and a former member 
of the Hillsdale City Fire Department.
Mr. Bellamy was born to Norris and Maude (Robinson) Bellamy in Jonesville on 
Aug. 20, 1901.  He married the former Mildred Clingerman on May 20, 1949.  She 
survives.
He is also survived by a brother, Otis Bellamy of Hillsdale, Another brother 
preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at VanHorn-Eagle Funeral 
Home, with the Rev. William Payne officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeview 
Cemetery in Hillsdale.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
