A young lady from Milwaukie, intellegent and of professing manners, as we learn, committed suicide at Congress Hall, by the use of poisons, from the effect of which she died on Saturday morning. To the physician who was called, she gave her name as Mary Jane Collins, and assigned as the cause of her act, the villainly of a young Man of Milwaukie, by whom she had been seduced under a promise of marriage, and then basely and wickedly abandoned to shame. To conceal her shame, and end her sorrows, she sought the refuge of the grave.
