H. Cook, son of Charles and Charity Converse Cook was born in Adams township, Hillsdale County, February 27, 1865 and passed away August 22, 1930, aged nearly 65 years and 6 months. He was married to Alice A. Frye, of Wheatland township, March 29, 1893. To this union were born one son, Ward A., who, with his family resides on the old homestead in Adams, where the deceased spent practically all his life. For 36 years he had been a member of the Osseo, Methodist Episcopal Church, holding an official position during the greater part of the time. He leaves to mourn his passing the wife, one son and wife, and two little grand-daughters, one brother, Edwin A. Cook of Cambria township and aunt, Mrs. Janet Jolly of Farmington, Washington, two nephews, Howard Cook of Allen and Paul Cook of Cambria and many other more distant relatives, besides a host of friends. The funeral services were held on August 25, at the church in Osseo being conducted by Rev. H. E. Wylie, assisted by Revs., C. J. Town of North Adams and Abram Jaggers of Albion, both former pastors of this church. Interment was made in East Hill cemetery.
