Born: May 21, 1911 - Prattville, Michigan
Parents:  Alfred and Belle (Silvernail) Emens - both preceded him in death.
Resideded in Prattville until 1957.
Married:  Loraine Fellow November 4, 1933
Occupation:  Vice President of Hillsdale Agency, Inc., Director of Hillsdale 
Mutual Insurance Co. prior to 1957; Assistant Secretary from 1957 until merger 
with South Eastern Insurance Co. in January 1963.
Died:  Monday afternoon at home - 11 W. Sharp St. following 3 month illness.
Survivors:  wife; 3 sons - Alfred at home, Donald of Leslie, and James of 
Prattville; 4 sisters - Mrs. James (Winifred) McDonald of Detroit, Mrs. Harry 
(Verle) Haller of Mt. Clemens, Mrs. Merlin (Harriett) Perrine of Coldwater, and 
Mrs. James (Janice) Cox of Pittsford; 4 brothers - John of Muncie, Indiana, Coe 
of Mason (Michigan), Deane of Springport (Michigan), and Virgil of Pioneer, 
Ohio; 4 grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday 2pm - Hillsdale United Brethren Church (was a member) - Rev. 
Donnell Campbell officiating, and Rev. A.E. Moor assisting.
Interment: Prattville Cemetery.
Visitation: Ned M. Towns Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
