Kenneth McArthur
HILLSDALE - Kenneth A. McArthur, 73, formerly of 187 Bankers Road, Hillsdale, 
died Tuesday morning (Nov. 13, 1984) at the Hillsdale County Medical Care 
Facility following an extended illness.

He was born May 28, 1911, in Hillsdale County to Leon and Anna Gould McArthur.

Mr. McArthur graduated from Pittsford High School in 1928 and was formerly 
employed at the Allied Plant 3 and was a retired representataive of IDS 
Investment Co.

He spent his entire life in Hillsdale County and was a member and past 
chancellor of the Knights of Pythias, a member of the Hillsdale Kiwanis Club, 
and a life member of the Elks Lodge #1575.

On Oct. 5, 1935, he married the former Sarah Bates.   She preceded him in 
death in 1982.

He is survived by two brothers, Carl of Zenia, Ohio, and Clare of Grand Ledge.

One brother preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Van Horn-Eagle Funeral 
Home with Pastor Willard Sanders officiating.  Burial will follow at the 
Leonardson Cemetery, Pittsford.  There will be a Pythian memorial service at 7 
p.m. Thursday followed by visitation until 8 p.m.   The family suggest 
memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
