WARE Albert E. Ware was born at Lysander, N.Y., July 1st, 1839 and died at his home in Jefferson township, Hillsdale county, Mich., February 7, 1910, aged 70 years, 7 months and 6 days. He came with his parents when 12 years of age and settled on a farm 5 miles north of Morenci where he lived until seven years ago when he purchased the farm where he resided at the time of his death. On June 24, 1863, he was united in marriage to Mary L. Warne, who still survives him and faithfully cared for him in his last illness. To them were born three children, Alice C. McArthur, who died at St. Louis, Mo., in 1889 [sic - it was actually 1899]; Wm. H. Ware of Butler, Ind., and Ben W. Ware of Christobal, Isthmus of Panama. Mr. Ware was a sturdy, industrious farmer whose word was as good as his bond, always to be found at home caring for his stock, which is noted as among the best in Hillsdale county and in which he took considerable pride. He loved the country life, and the animals which were under his care, were fortunate indeed for all were pets and recognized their master as a friend. Besides his immediate family, he leaves to regret his departure one sister, two nieces, three grand-children, two great-grandchildren and a host of friends. The funeral was conducted at the home by Rev. J.H. McPherson of Shadyside and the interment in Leonardson Cemetery at Pittsford. Additional Comments: Copy of obituary provided by P.
