Broken tombstone reads:

DANIEL COLWELL

Additional Comments:
Only the top of the broken tombstone remains and so all other information is 
lost.  Daniel was the son of Stukley Colwell and Martha.  He is buried near 
his father and brother, J. Wade Colwell.  From all of my research, I believe 
that Daniel never married.  He was born about 1809 in NY, probably Ontario 
County.  The family lived for a time in Seneca, Ontario, NY, where many of the 
children were likely born.  Census records usually have him living with his 
sister Electa Colwell, who also never married.  Electa's tombstone has not 
been found, or brother Albert Colwell, both believed to have died and been 
buried at Gleason Cemetery.
