MC COWAN-AYES - At the residence of the bride's father, on Monday Feb. 22d, by 
the Rev. B.P. Chaffee, Mr. John O. McCowan, (son of the Hon. Henry McCowan, of 
this County) to Miss Ida May Aames [sic], daughter of Mr. Bishop Ames, of 
Hudson, Mich.
John, May Ida prove - "a guardian angel o'er thy life presiding, Doubling thy 
joys and thy cares dividing."
