In Lakeview Cemetery, Calumet, Houghton County, Michigan. Transcription:  
James Phillips 1823-1906; located to the right of the double gravestone for 
the two infant sons of William James and Mary Ann Angove. Note: On Phillips 
side of Angove/Phillips family monument. See separate listing for each side of 
monument.




Additional Comments:
James Phillips was the maternal uncle of William James Angove, Sr. He 
emigrated from Redruth, Cornwall about 1850, and later resided with his 
nephew's family in Calumet, Michigan. The family monument was shared between 
the Angove family and Phillips family. His older sister Jane Phillips (1813-
1876) of Redruth, Cornwall was his nephew's mother.
