McCulloch, 84, of Harbor Beach passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, in the long term care unit of Harbor Beach Community Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, in the Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, with the Rev. Theresa Cutler officiating. Burial will be in Rock Falls Cemetery in Harbor Beach. Cecilia Minnick Cecilia T. Minnick, 97, of Lincoln Township died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at the Huron Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. She is survived by three sisters, Margaret Forti, Elizebeth Faello and Francis Shari, all of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe. The Rev. Fr. Jack Leipert of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Barbara Rasmussen Barbara J. Rasmussen, 65, of Owendale died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, in Abbe Adult Foster Care Home, Owendale, after a short illness. Barbara is survived by her sisters, Beryl Mall of Bay City and Helen Sparks of Tawas; and a cousin, John Abbe and his wife, Genevieve, of Owendale. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, in Kranz Funeral Home in Cass City with Elder Ellis Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Grant Township Cemetery. Oscar Seeley Oscar T. Seeley, 85, of Cass City died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, in Hills and Dales General Hospital in Cass City. He is survived by his children: Joan Ware and her husband, James, of Cass City, Betty L. Watson of Caro, Joyce Hornbacher and her husband, Gary, of Rio Rico, Ariz., Wayne Seeley and his wife, Laurie, of Kawkawlin and Ronald Seeley and his wife, Jean, of Unionville; 12 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; his sisters, Aileen Price and her husband, Ralph, of Caro, Nellie Anthes of Cass City; a brother, Alfred Seeley and his wife, Donna, of Cass City; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with the Rev. Gerald Meyer of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City, officiating. Pallbearers for Mr. Seeley are his grandsons. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Clyde Tetreau Clyde P. Tetreau, 91, of Lincoln Township died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at the Lutheran Home Frankenmuth. Surviving are two daughters, Gay Rummel and her husband, Jack, of Frankenmuth, and Weyona Abbs and her husband, Warren, of Bay City; three grandchildren, Kristin Jacobs and her husband, Tom, of Bay City, Steve Rummel of Lansing and Shari Rummel of Frankenmuth; one great-grandchild, Alexis Rummel of Frankenmuth; three sisters, Elsie Mead and her husband, Bob, of Sebring, Fla., Lucille Shively and her husband, Paul, of Boyne Falls and Lilly Richardson of Bad Axe; one brother, Charles Tetreau and his wife, Dorothy, of Sebring, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Colfax Township Cemetery. Dean Gillingham Dean J. Gillingham, 38, of Sidney, Ohio, departed unexpectedly on Jan. 16, 2000, at his home. Surviving besides his wife, Mary, are three daughters, Sarah, Stephanie and Kelly; one son, Robert; parents Richard and Elaine Gillingham, Pigeon; three brothers, Dan Gillingham and his wife, Mary, of Greenville, S.C., Gary Gillingham and his wife, Laura, in the U.S. Navy in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Alan Gillingham of Pigeon; two sisters, Annette Morris and her husband, Joseph, of Howell, and Karen Durling and her husband, Kurt, of Okemos; and six nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Santieu and Son Funeral Home, Garden City. Walter Jezierski Walter R. Jezierski, 81, of Cass City died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, in Covenant Health Care Cooper in Saginaw. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with the Rev. Fred Norris of 15 Mile Road Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Arthur Schafer Arthur F. Schafer, 82, of Rialto, Calif., passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Annie; two daughters, Myrna Born and her husband, Elmer, of Pigeon, and Delphine Avery and her husband, Harold, of Caro; his grandchildren, Laurie Pionk of Saginaw, Vickie Buchholz and her husband, Scott, of Lake Orion, Krisie Fritz and her husband, Mark, of Pigeon, Rick Born and his wife, Kriste, of Auburn, Hollie Haag and her husband, Brian, of Inkster, James Avery and his wife, Jill, of Lansing, and Marcy Campbell and her husband, Matthew, of Birch Run; and 13 great- grandchildren. Ted Hergenreder Ted Hergenreder, 85, of Kingston died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, in Hills and Dales General Hospital, Cass City, after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, in Kranz Funeral Home in Cass City with Rollin Mader and John Byers officiating. Pallbearers for Mr. Hergenreder are Allan Hartwick, Howard Beardslee, James Klaty, James Hall, Lloyd Fredrick and David Klaty. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery, Kingston. Arleta Forster Arleta Berl Forster, 83, of Elkton died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 16, 2000, at Huron Memorial Hospital in Bad Axe. Surviving are four daughters, Betsy Farver and her husband, Bruce, Mary Jo Kosinski and her husband, Ed, all of Elkton, Judy Jarvis of Pigeon and Rhonda Matelski and her husband, Greg, of Bad Axe; her son, Kevin Forster and his wife, Peggy, of Caseville; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; eight great- great-grandchildren; three sisters, Opal Dufty of Caseville, Beatrice Hill of Elkton and Ruth Wagner and her husband, Al, of Detroit; and a brother, Jerry Roth of Detroit. Sydney Luskey Sydney Nicole Luskey, 1, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, in Port St. Lucie. Sydney is survived by her parents; a brother, Brandon; a sister, Samantha; her maternal grandparents, Dorene and Jim Walsh of Brighton and Ronald and Sally Nowiski of Harbor Beach; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Sharon Luskey of Washington; and maternal great-grandfather, Roman Nowiski of Harbor Beach. A Mass of the Angels will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Harbor Beach. Theresa McKenzie Theresa Irene McKenzie, 96, of Beaverton and formerly of Warren, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home. She is survived by a son, John McKenzie of Warren; a daughter, Jean Logan and her husband, James, of Beaverton; daughter-in- law Shirley McKenzie of Warren; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great- great-granchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at Lyle Elliott Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will take place today, Jan. 18, 2000, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. Harlon Volz Harlon H. Volz, 86, of Sebewaing died Monday afternoon, Jan. 17, 2000, at Huron Memorial Hospital in Bad Axe following a brief illness. Surviving besides his wife, Rose, are one daughter, Diane Jamieson and her husband, James, of Cass City; one son, Wesley Volz and his wife, Shirley, of Unionville; five grandchildren, Stephanie and Lindsay Jamieson, Rita Papp, Roxanne Logan and James Volz; one great-granddaughter, Angela Papp; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. The Rev. Charles Kuhl will officiate with burial in Silverlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing. Mary Beno Mrs. Mary R. Beno, 94, of Austin Township died Friday evening, Jan. 14, 2000, at Tendercare of Cass City. She is survived by two nieces locally, Mrs. Marilyn Rutkowski and her husband, Stanley, of Ubly, Mrs. Charlotte Particka and her husband, Melvin, of Ubly, and other nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at St. John's Catholic Church of Ubly. The Rev. T.J. Fleming, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery of Freiburg. Randall Ferguson Randall "Randy" Ferguson, 35, of Bad Axe passed away on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Bad Axe; a son, Jeremy Ferguson of Bad Axe; a daughter, Jessica Ferguson of Bad Axe; his father, Morris Ferguson of Conneaut, Ohio; his mother, Nancy Watson of Southville, Pa.; a brother, Craig Ferguson of Indiana; two sisters, Wendy Ferguson and Jill Grant and her husband, Ed, all of Iowa; and his stepmother, Irene Ferguson of Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Conneaut, Ohio. Arlene Langley Arlene Geiger Langley, 69, of Caseville passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 15, 2000, at Bay Medical Center in Bay City. Surviving are her husband, Roy; two sons, Jim Langley and his wife, Julie, of Caseville, and Roy Langley and his wife, Kari, of Pigeon; her daughter, Noreen Baker and her husband, James, of Caseville; eight grandchildren, Greg, Bruce, Jerry, Kara, J.R., Jace, Jake and Jayla; and four great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Michael, Alyx and Mitchell. Magdalene Messing Magdalene Messing, 84, of Ruth died Sunday morning, Jan. 16, 2000, at her daughter's residence in Saginaw. She is survived by five sons, Ronald Messing and his wife, Patricia, of Freeland, Benjamin Messing and his wife, Maria, of Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Harry Messing of New Haven, Clifford Messing and his fiance, Sue Piorunek, of Ruth, and Michael Messing and his wife, Sherry, of Ruth; four daughters, Alice Vahovick and her husband, Kenneth, of Warren, Carol Dropeski and her husband, Harold, of Minden City, Lillian Slater and her husband, Paul, of Saginaw and Faye Karpovich and her husband, Stephen, of Caro; 28 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and in-laws Ray and Bertha Messing, Margaret Kirsch, Dorothy Kirsch and Gertrude Messing. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Agnes Ventline Agnes Ventline, 97, of Detroit died of kidney failure on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at Bon Secours Hospital in Detroit. She is survived by her husband, Matthew, of Port Austin. The funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 691 E. Canfield, Detroit with her nephew the Rev. Fr. Lawrence Ventline and the Rev. Fr. Ron Jozwiak, pastor of St. Josaphat, officiating. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit. Steven Wren Steven C. Wren, 24, of Deford died suddenly Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, in Novesta Township in a motor vehicle collision. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Kranz Funeral Home in Cass City with the Rev. James Welker, retired Church of Christ minister of Fenton, officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Marjorie Bliss Marjorie J. Bliss, 77, of Cass City died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, in St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw. Marjorie is survived by her husband, William of Cass City; children, William J. Bliss Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Portage, Robert Bliss and his wife, Beryl, of Cass City, Barbara Generous and her husband, Gerald, of Caro, David Bliss and Penny Weber of West Branch, Paul Bliss and his wife, LaDonna, of Cass City and Charles Bliss and his wife, Tamara, of Cass City; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, James Tyo and his wife, Chris, of Prudenville; sister-in-law Jeanne Tyo of Ellenton, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. Huett, 67, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw. She is survived by her husband, Harlan; two daughters, Pam Sears and Jim Bieri of Bay Port and Lynn Huett at home; one son, David Huett and his wife, Kim, of Caseville; five grandchildren, Robby Sears, Craig Sears and his wife, Tina, Jason Sears, Krissi Sears and Heather Huett; one brother, Frank Robinson and his wife, Barb, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one niece, one nephew and their families. Roland McDonald Roland McDonald, 81, of Kinde died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe following and extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Leona; stepson Ronald Schram and his wife, Geraldine, of Midland, two step- grandchildren, Robert Schram and his wife, Sharon, and Kelly Pearson and her husband, Steve, all of Midland; two step-great-grandchildren, Nicole Schram and Daniel Schram.
