Ronisch Howard M. Roenisch, 81, died early Saturday morning, March 9, 2002, at Tendercare of Cass City following a four-year illness. He was born June 15, 1920, in Sebewaing, son of the late Martin G. and Helena C. (Wagner) Roenisch. Howard had been employed as a plumber at the former Kundinger & Rievert in Sebewaing from age 17 until his retirement in 1981 except for a four-year stint in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. He served in North Africa in the medical corps and also in Tunis-Rome, Naples-Foggio, Po Valley and the Appenines. He was a member of New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing and a member of the Sebewaing V.F.W. Post No. 4115 and the Unionville- Sebewaing area senior citizens organization. He also was an avid fisherman. Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Winter of Sebewaing and Betty Luther of Unionville; one brother, Raymond Roenisch of Sebewaing; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Swenson and an infant brother. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at New Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. William Mayhew will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Dinkel-Juengel Funeral Home in Sebewaing. He will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of service. Memorials may be given to New Salem Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice. Monday, March 11, 2002 - None Tuesday, March 12, 2002 - None Wednesday, March 13, 2002 Keith Melick Keith Melick, 88, of Harbor Beach passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in the Long- Term Care Unit of Harbor Beach Community Hospital. Born in Elkton on May 5, 1913, he was the son of the late Earl and Elva (Asher) Melick. He and Bertha Henderson were married on May 21, 1932, in Harbor Beach. She preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 1978. Keith was a retired employee of Hercules, Inc., retiring in 1977 after 46 years of employment. Keith also was the manager of the Harbor Beach baseball team for many years. He was an avid bowler in Harbor Beach and Bad Axe, a hunter, and was involved in many charity projects throughout the area. Keith enjoyed visiting with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved talking about the history of Harbor Beach to everyone. He will be sadly missed by his family. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ruhl and her husband, Lawrence, of Harbor Beach; four grandchildren, Linda Weldon and her husband, Keith, Kathy Currie and her husband, Chuck, Brian Ruhl and his wife, Julie, and Lisa Lewis and her husband, James; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Edna Kleinknecht of Harbor Beach. Keith was preceded in death by his sisters, Evadeen Pickman, Wilma Kroetsch and Donna Hoffman; and brothers Virgil Melick, Lee Melick and Lynn Melick. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002, in the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. The Rev. Clarence VanConant will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Alma Woycehoski Alma R. Woycehoski, 79, of Harbor Beach passed away Monday, March 11, 2002, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw following a short illness. Born in Harbor Beach on Feb. 25, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Geiger) Siemen. Alma and Raymond Woycehoski were united in marriage on May 16, 1942, in Harbor Beach. Ray preceded her in death on June 7, 2000. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. Alma loved raising her family and keeping her home in order. She will be missed by her family. Surviving are her children, Diana Cook and her husband, Ronald, of Davison, Wayne Woycehoski and his wife, Bonnie, of Clio, Bryan Woycehoski and his wife, Kathy, of Clio, Terry Woycehoski and his wife, Mary, of Clio, and Jeffrey Woycehoski and his wife, Leslie, of Harbor Beach; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her twin brother, Lavern Siemen of Harbor Beach; a brother, Clem Siemen and his wife, Marjorie, of Harbor Beach; and a sister, Doreen Hagedon of Harbor Beach. Alma was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Marcus Siemen; and two sisters, Mildred Siemen and Lillian Essenmacher. A funeral mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002, in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach with the Rev. Steve Gavitt, pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A parish vigil will take place at 8 p.m. this evening at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Harbor Beach. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church. Thursday, March 14, 2002 Clifford Richardson Mr. Clifford "Pete" S. Richardson, 86, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Ubly, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in the Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda, Fla. He was born July 25, 1915, in Traverse City, son of the late Carl and Florence (Page) Richardson. He married Rose Bays on Dec. 22, 1943, in Ypsilanti. She preceded him in death on April 2, 1988. He married Elsie Scott in October 1989 at the Ubly Presbyterian Church. Mr. Richardson graduated from a country school in Traverse City. He farmed in Traverse City and in the Ubly area. He was a delivery man for Carl Stank Oil and Coal and a driver for John Nugent Used Cars in Ubly. He worked 26 years at Thumb Electric Co. as a power plant operator, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Ubly Presbyterian Church for many years. He enjoyed gardening, walking, bicycling and visiting with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Richardson of Port Charlotte; one daughter, Brenda Osentoski and her husband, Marshel, of Ubly; two sons, Carl Richardson and his wife, Lana, of Allen Park and Gary Richardson and his wife, Susie, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Ritola of Traverse City and Laura Meredith of Traverse City; and two sisters-in-law, Ann Richardson of Bad Axe and Lillie Reed of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Florence Jean; one stepdaughter, Anna Dee; and one brother, Walter Richardson. Funeral services will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly. Mr. Huber Howell of the Ubly Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Delia Grigg Delia W. Grigg, 98, of Deford died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in Hills and Dales General Hospital in Cass City. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cass City with the Rev. Gerald Meyer officiating. Interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kranz Funeral Home in Cass City and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Friday, March 15, 2002 Cecilia Wolschlager Cecilia M. Wolschlager, 85, of Shelby Township for more than 15 years and formerly of Detroit, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2002. She was born on Jan. 17, 1917, in Detroit. She was united in marriage to Leo Wolschlager on June 5, 1935, at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Detroit. He preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1991. Cecilia was a member of St. Kieran Catholic Church of Shelby Township. She loved to travel. Cecilia is survived by three sons, Jerry and his wife, Judy, of Shelby Township, Brian of Tucson, Ariz. and Dale of Capitola, Calif.; four daughters, Brenda Garr and her husband, Bob, of Novi, Karen Pasque of St. Clair Shores, Valerie Gage and her husband, Bruce, of Roseville and Faith Rossi and her husband, Dennis, of St. Clair Shores; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lou Roberts, in 2001. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2002, at St. Kieran's Catholic Church in Shelby Township. Burial will take place at the West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton. Arrangements are by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo. 1
