Mrs Patrick Ahearn
Bad Axe - Mrs Isabella Ahearn, 69, wife of Patrick Ahearn and lifelong resident 
of Huron county, died unexpectedly Tues in her farm home in Colfax Twp. Born 
Sept 6, 1886 in Sherman twp, Mrs Ahearn lived the last 39 years in Colfax twp. 
She is survived by her husband, 4 daughters, Mrs Earl Smearder, Kinde; Mrs 
Donald Wolschlager, Bad Axe; Mrs Elizabeth Blacklaw, Berkeley, CA and Mrs Wilbur 
Schneider, Center Line; 4 sons, Frederick Smith, Sandusky; Henry Smith, Kinde, 
and Thomas & James Ahearn, both of Bad Axe; 39 grandchildren, a great 
grandchild, 3 brothers, Walter, James and Joseph Smith, all of Detroit and 3 
sisters, Mrs Bernard Nowicki and Mrs Bernard Huff, both of Detroit and Mrs 
Henry Rifebark, Curran, MI. Mrs Ahearn was a member of Sacred hearth Cath ch, 
the Altar society and Daughters of Isabella. Funeral services will be at 9 a.. 
Fri in sacred heart ch. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.
