Martin Theodore Ameling Sr.
June 7, 1904 - June 12, 1959
Martin T. Ameling. Sr., 706 E. Wenger St., died at 11:30 p. m Friday in St. 
Joseph's Hospital.  He was born in Topeka, Indiana June 7, 1904, and married the 
former Elizabeth Dudek.  Mr. Ameling was a contractor.  Surviving are his widow; 
his mother, Mrs. Katherine Ameling of Tucson, Arizona; four sons, Martin T. Jr., 
Richard, Arthur and Frederick, all of South Bend; seven grandchildren; a 
brother, Leon of  Tucson, and three sisters, Mrs. Jake Buford of Tucson, Mrs. 
Inez Morton of Spencer, Indiana, and Mrs.- Florence Overhaulser of Osceola.  
Friends may call after 7 p. m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home. Mr. Ameling was 
a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.  Published Pg. 8, The South Bend
