Richard William Ameling 
August 25, 1926 - April 7, 1988
GOSHEN - Services for Richard W. Ameling, 61, of 210 E. Lincoln Ave., who died 
at 11:03 a.m. Thursday in Elkhart General Hospital emergency room, will be at 10 
a.m.  Monday in Rice Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to services 
Monday in Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Mr. Ameling was a retired meat 
cutter.  He was born August 25, 1926, in South Bend.  Surviving are three 
daughters, Janice Ameling of Walkerton, Sharon Tobias of New Jersey and Kathy 
Davis of Culver; a son, Michael of Las Vegas, Nevada; 14 grandchildren; and two 
brothers, Arthur and Frederrick, both of South Bend.  Published The South Bend 
Tribune, Pg 3, Saturday April 9, 1988
