December 28, 1931 - January 25, 2021
AVERY, Dale Thomas -  Age 89, of Fenton, passed away January 25, 2021.  Funeral 
Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, January 29, 2021 at St. John the 
Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. (The Mass will be live 
streamed and can be viewed on Mr. Avery's obituary page of 
www.sharpfuneralhomes.com)  Fr. Robert Copeland Celebrant.  Burial will follow 
in Oakwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral 
Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10AM until the time 
of Mass Friday at the church.  Those desiring may make contributions to the 
American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association. 

Dale was born December 28, 1931 in Harbor Beach, the son of Floyd and Elizabeth 
(Lang) Avery.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War, 
where he attained the rank of Sergeant in two years.  Mr. Avery retired from 
General Motors in 1993 after 30 years of service. 

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia; son, Kim; grandchildren, Eric, 
Nicholas, Karmen and Derek; great-grandchildren, Logan, Henry and Levi.  He was 
preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd and sister, Doris Meyer.   Published 
Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton, Mich.

Catholic Church in Harbor Beach.
