Patrick J Ahearn, 79 (1966)
Bad Axe, died Thurs. at the Hubbard hosp, Bad Axe, after a short 
illness. He was born Mar 17, 1887 in Hume twp and was a life long 
resident of Huron Co. He was a retired farmer and had lived the 
past 50 yrs in Colfax twp. Deceased was a parishioner of Bad Axe 
Sacred Heart ch. Mr Ahearn and Mrs Isabelle Smith were married 
July 17, 1915 in Bad Axe. She died in 1956. Survivors are 2 sons, 
Thomas and James, Bad Axe; 1 daughter, Mrs Wilbur Schneider, 
Centerline; 20 grandchildren, 26 step-grandchildren and 3 great 
grandchildren. 2 step sons, Fred Smith, Carsonville and Henry 
Smith, Kinde; 3 step daughters, Mrs Earl Smeader, Port Austin, 
Mrs Donald Wolschlager, Bad Axe, Mrs Elizabeth Blacklaw, El Cerita, 
CA; and 1 sister, Mrs George Bushey, Kinde. Remains are at MacAlpine 
funeral home, Bad Axe. Services will be at 10 a.m. Mon in Sacred Heart 
with burial in the church cemetery.
