William A Becking
Funeral services were conducted Mon afternoon for William A Becking, 50, Bad 
Axe, life long resident of Huron county. The services were in Our Saviour Luth 
ch, Bad Axe, with Rev Carl H Trautman officiating. Burial was in Colfax 
cemetery. Born March 10, 1900, in Sheridan twp, he lived there until he moved to 
Bad Axe three years ago. He married Jane Chesney, Sept 20, 1921, in Bad Axe. He 
was a farmer many years and later drove passenger busses. At the time of his 
death, he was employed at Verona Hills golf course. Survivors are his widow, two 
foster children, William Bardwell, Ryal Oak and Mrs Louise Smith, Detroit; a 
brother, Charles Becking, Bad Axe and a sister, Mrs Mary Stauer, Harbor Beach.
