Mrs Charles J Becking
Mrs Martha Becking, 56, passed away early Tues morning at Hubbard Memorial 
hospital after a long illness. She was born Feb 4, 1902 in Sheridan twp and has 
been a life long resident of that twp and Huron county. Martha and Charles were 
married in Detroit Feb 4, 1925. Mrs Becking was a member of Our Saviour Luth ch, 
Luth Ladies Auxiliary and Luth Women's League. Survivors are her husband; 1 son, 
Robert, Bad Axe, one son, Charles, preceded her in death; one daughter, Mrs 
Harold Bannick, Bad Axe; 5 grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mrs Ira Hill and Mrs Henry 
Rifenbark, both of Bad Axe, Mrs Annie LaPointe, Toledo OH, and Mrs Everett 
Daniels, Redford, MI; 2 brothers, George Hubbard , Bad Axe and Cecil Hubbard, 
Port Huron. Remains will be at MacAlpine funeral home until noon Thurs when they 
will be moved to the church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thurs in Our 
Saviour Luth ch. Burial will be in Colfax cemetery.
