Clara C. (Lemanski) Block  
September 19, 1908 – January 27, 1977
Clara C. Block, 68, of 7700 East Huron Line Road, died Thursday in her home from 
a heart attack.  She was born September 19, 1908, in Minden Township.  She was 
married to William Block, June 17, 1930 in Parisville.  Mrs. Block was a member 
of the Christian Mothers Society of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Wilfred Block, Minden City, and James 
Block, Harbor Beach; two sisters, Mrs. August Abraham, Minden City, and Mrs. 
Floyd Oparka, Ubly; a brother, Leo Lemanski, Ubly; and a grandson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sts. Peter and Paul Church.  The Rev. 
Francis Murray, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  
The remains are in Bowen Funeral Home, Minden City, where the Rosary will be 
recited at 8 p.m. today.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Friday
