Greg James Booms
September 18, 1961 – July 5, 2009
Greg James Booms, 47, Harbor Beach, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 
Houston Hospice in Houston, Texas.  He was born on September 18, 1961 in 
Harbor Beach to Marvin and the late Virginia (Wrubel) Booms. Greg and Cindy 
Weiss were married on November 5, 1994 in Harbor Beach.  Greg was a mechanic 
for Harbor Beach Community Schools since 1992.  He enjoyed modified tractor 
pulling, drag racing and especially being with his family. Greg was a member 
of Zion Lutheran Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Cindy, Harbor Beach; daughter, Courtney Booms, 
Peck; sons, Zackery and Jessy Booms, Harbor Beach; father, Marvin Booms, 
Harbor Beach; brothers: Russell (Lorie) Booms, Bad Axe, Roy (Peg) Booms, 
Minden City and Dale (Pam) Booms, Harbor Beach and sister, Carol (Lenny) 
Fisher, Kinde. 

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 10, 2009 in Zion Lutheran Church, 
Harbor Beach with Rev. David McCloskey officiating. Burial was in Rock Falls 
Cemetery, Harbor Beach. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Ramsey 
Funeral Home, Harbor Beach.
